Business Unit Manager

As a Business Unit Manager, you will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to develop business for the Business Unit SelfDev. You should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. 

  • Maintain existing business
  • Identify partnership opportunities and develop new relationships
  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and review business project activities and ensure their completion within a scheduled period and budget.
  • Conduct research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Think critically when planning to assure project success
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Have at least 1 year experience prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has ability to develop specific plans and goals to help in accomplishing tasks efficiently and create fresh ideas, systems, and relationships for the success of the business unit.
  • Focused and goal-oriented
